No one benefits from these gigantic, bird killing, scenery blocking, forever earth polluting monoliths except the ones who get paid for putting them on their land, the corporate money grabbers and the ONE maintenance guy. The locals do not even get to use the bit of electric they manage to spit out when the GRID isn't making them turn! How can they be "green" when 80 percent of the thing cannot be recycled!??

The same moles that stood by saying they were unaware that 29 mega chicken houses would be erected along route 220 next to Andersons run and a residential community of at least 25 years are the same ones that showed up at the concerned citizens of old fields meetings. Don’t be fooled!

I never realized these machines were so prone to lightning strikes and the noise issues are disturbing.I'm very much against wind power now.

This land is bought and paid for by people living in the state of WV. Not for a developer

Windmills have about a 30% capacity factor so that the supposed 80MW electric power that these monstrosities will produce is actually about 1/3 of that and will be unpredictable. They will still have to be backed up with some other form of reliable power such as natural gas, hydro, coal, nuclear, etc. They are more or less worthless for the power grid and as many others have noted, bad for the environment and bad for local properties and they destroy the view shed.

KEEP OUR MOUNTAINS BEAUTIFUL! Wind turbines are a horrible welcome to visitors, bad for wildlife, and a nuisance to our residents.

Before signing this petition you should do some independent research. Even offshore turbines aren't this tall.

Who gets the benefit of using the electricity generated by these wind turbines? Will t go to places like casino's in New Jersey. Conserving is a better option then ruining an ecosystem that provides fresh air and water to the world.
