No tuition fee for b.arch students during internship

This is totally unfair!

We should file a sue for this

Pls reduce the fees amount in 4 th sem

This petition will have full support of all architecture students. We're not objects to suck money from.

Good initiative. This is sheer injustice.

None of the college facilities(tuition, food, electricity, hostel amenities) are availed during the internship semester. It makes little sense, if any, to pay the institute such formidable sums of money, in the name of semester fees, when we won't be present within the college premises for that semester. Also, it would be 'extremely obliging' of the institute authorities to let us know what happens of the money. What facilities are procured with that money, and more importantly, for whom?

I agree. No more tutuion fee during internships!!!

This doesn't make sense. I'm asked to pay 2,50,000 rupees for my 5th year which i wont be doing in college any way. On top of that, I will have to spend anew for internship , say food, traveling, and so on.

Why we need to give fee when we don't use any collage facility ???

I agree with this. Sometimes the fees go up to Rs. 2.5 lakhs for the year, why do we have to pay the college when we are not even availing their services, using the college or even the campus? It is not fair for anyone. While internship, we have to spend a big amount for getting settled in the new place anyhow, how is paying the college fees aiding? Many a times the college doesn't even aid in the placement. It is our responsibility to find a firm and do it. What exactly is the college doing during this time? Apart from keeping a record. I am against the unnecessary fee payment. A minimal amount is acceptable for official records, marking and assessment. But not a full year payment.

This is absolutely true.the council of architecture as well as the government and colleges should deduct the entire fees during those semesters
