This area is already has heavy traffic and can not handle anymore. By building an A@W drive -thru restaurant this area will be not suitable for residency anymore and especially for the residents that are close to the lot.

Healthy Alternative would be better. But I think this stretch of road is already to busy and doest need another drive thru. I live right near this and walk everywhere I go. I've nearly been hit at that corner more times then I can count. That intersection is a nightmare with people not looking. To add another establishment into the mix is insane. I feel for the people who back on to this lot. Many have been there many many years.

Would make a lot more sense for the A&W to go over in the empty lot beside Tim Hortons.

I just checked out the elevation from this property to my backyard. The top end of this property is almost 4' higher elevated than the back of my house. My rear window bottoms are 8' high. Basically, an 8' privacy wall will only as effective as an approx 4.25' fence for privacy. Oh, the smell preventing me from opening my windows is a huge problem, along with people cutting through my yard to get to the proposed A&W will no doubt increase.

Too close to the homes, and the noise from the drive-thru speaker will be a definite disturbance.

That intersection is too busy now. As a pedestrian who walks it almost daily, I've almost got hit more then a few times by "normal" traffic.

Stop the insanity! Too small a lot. Already busy corner commercially and traffic-wise. A&W on Bleams Road nearby.

This property is too small and residential is too close. We live behind Boston Pizza but there is a parking lot and buffer area and we still are affected by the light and smells, not to mention the recent influx of rats. We captured 6 within six days. I hope this is not allowed to go ahead.

Too bad Kitchener does not want to offer their people a healthier alternative.

We have enough trouble with Popeys's chicken and seafood restaurant's rats and uncleanness where the city does nothing. No more we have enough junk food stores in Alpine!!! NO MORE RATS AND VERMIN

Silly to have fast food drive thru so close to residential area.

A drive thru on a corner is a traffic nightmare and will certainly devalue home prices in the area. There are enough fast food places around!

This drive -thru can affect the four homes directly bordering the site thru the noise of the engine especially at night.

I think that this is a stupid idea that will continue to reduce the value of houses in this neighbourhood.
Eliminate the drive through or better yet build a park.

Cannot even take care of the property.
Owner already lied once to us! What else has he lied to us about?

Alpine has no need for another drive through or fast food restaurant. It adds nothing to the neighborhood in terms of adding to the community.
I can go to any of a dozen chain restaurants selling deep fried fatty foods but can't find a fair trade cup of coffee anywhere.
A & W happens to be one of the few fast food places we will stop on occassion. There is already one at the corner of Bleams and Homer Watson to fill that need.
Alpine deserves city planning that grows our area in the best interest of the residents and this isn't it.

Drive thru restaurants are not good for the environment, create air emission, noise pollution and waste.
