Norman must balance its budget, help build locally owned businesses that provide sustainable jobs, invest in affordable housing, and work on investing more in our schools and quality of life infrastructure (Norman Forward Projects)--this is what makes a community a wonderful place to live.

I find it reckless that OU gave their coaches raises few days ago, and OU with Joe C, wants the City of Norman to help pay for a "WANT" (NOT NEED) arena on OU land. There's are A LOT more pressing things the city's money needs to go to that are LONG OVER DO.
If OU and Joe C. really wants that "WANT", I'm sure they can find ways and people to help pay for it, HINT: budgeting and saving goes along way take it from me.

Let OU take care of their own arena. If a shiny new arena is needed to get fans to BB games, how does OSU get fans to Gallagher-Iba?
