Rediculous and disgusting.

This is as unacceptable as racism - especially given the extreme level of sexual abuse prevalent in Namibia.

Has Trustco gone mad? If this is their way of advancing women equality in the work place, they have surely gone mad. The most violently disrespectful advert I’ve ever seen in Namibia. The overt sexism and transphobia is staggering. It’s so disgusting. Shame on you Trustco.

"Women just look better in board pictures" "Deserving lady" "Stand your ground amongst the best of men" "Namibian broads" There are so many things wrong with this; it's difficult to comprehend. The image of Caitlyn Jenner, the implication she transitioned for some inane reason; the copy and concept itself... This advert is awful discrimination masquerading as crude humor; and we will not tolerate it.

not saying, WAD is an opportunistic women empowerment organisation. They are not. Yet there are others who are.

James, to add on top. They have given WAD shares. Now they should come up with sponsoring institutions who really fight long term, not oportunistically for Women equality etc. Sister Namibia is such an organisation where Trustco should make a huge donation! Or e.g. buy Sister Pads produed by Sister Namibia. and distribute to all schools in a specfic region etc.... An apology without consequences (here: hurtful in terms of money wise) has no effect, in my mind.

This advert is discriminatory towards women as per our Constitution, Convention on the Elimination of all forms of Discrimination against women, SADC Protocol on Gender and Development, National Gender Policy to mention but a few. It contravenes all efforts made by the Government of Namibia to promote and advance Gender Equality. As a member of MenEngage Namibia we demand an immediate retraction of this advert, we demand an apology and we demand that Trustco Holdings convene Gender Trainings for their management and staff members.

Given our historic context and the prevailing gender disparities, such repugnant sexiest, misogynistic and transphobic sentiments have no place in our society. For a listed company to display such demeaning, degrading and disrespectful attitudes towards women in this country is completely and utterly unacceptable. Pansy.

Horrific to think that a well known, well staffed and established company thinks that this is suitable in today's climate!
