The population of Prescott Russell does NOT want any more polluting industries in our region. We do NOT anything associated with Asphalt, Aggregates or our Heavy Polluting Industries. Please respect the wishes of the population. L'Orignal is also struggling to keep out a cement plant project proposal that is also planned to be on County Road 17 between Alfred and L'Orignal. We all have to show solidarity against these unwanted corporate invasions.

I am a new resident in the region and I say NO to the asphalt plant. I chose this area to establish roots and raise my children in a wholesome and natural environment and hearing this news not only offends me greatly but it disappoints me to see how once again profits are trumping common sense.
