Olhao is a beautiful town with many building of significant beauty and historic importance. The proposed changes will have major impact on the town and tourist attraction thereby affecting the local economy.

I would not return to Olhao as a tourist if its special character is destroyed. The rooftop life of the small old buildings is very beautiful.

We loved our visit to Olhão this year. We were recommended by good friends to visit, largely because of the unspoiled nature of the town and it's architectural cohesiveness. It has such a special charm! We plan to visit again soon as do our friends. Please do not spoil your beautiful town!

As recent visitors to Olhao, my wife and I were so taken with its uniqueness, which is the soul of its charm. It would be a tragedy to destroy the character of Olhao by the so-called "revitalization" of the old city center. This Americanization of a beautiful place should be turned away.
