I do not want this quarry built because it is too near my home. The increase in traffic, noise and dust and pollution are all of concern to me. Thank you.

Approving a quarry and the associated truck traffic on 87 is rediculous this close to the 2nd largest community in Lee County.

This is a dirty industry that will cause many, many problems to Lee and surrounding counties. There are already 2 other quarries in Lee and more like this will undoubtedly be admitted if this is allowed to be built.

Lee County will be worth less and less...and Ray Covington, who does not live here, is a major driving force in that downfall. He owns property in the SW section where he wants fracking to occur. If the quarry is permitted, like industry is sure to follow. Why would the people of Lee County consent to have our county ruined like this??

Carolina Trace is an outstanding development with 24/7 gated security, one of only 3 in the area. Another competitive neighborhood to our area, Carolina Lakes in Harnett County would likely become more popular in home sales, taking sales away from Carolina Trace if Carolina Trace becomes less desirable because of the proposed Quarry.

I'm concerned about the quarry lowering property values and it could possibly be used in the future to store coal ash which is know to be toxic to the environment.

My employer has a corporate membership in Carolina Trace Country Club. We are against the quarry since it will adversely affect the environment in many ways.

Petitioning against the proposed rock quarry to be built just across Highway 87. We are members at Carolina Trace and have family, friends, and business clients that live and visit routinely. This is a very big concern!

I am a potential home owner in Carolina Trace. The home is under contract and we are in the disclosure period. The fact that a quarry may be built, against the people's wishes, concerns me and may well force me to withdraw my purchase offer. How many other home buyers would greet the news of a rock quarry in their neighborhood with warm and fuzzy feelings?
