Please do not build anymore homes in or around east calder, we simply do not have the roads, or public services to cope, The village has already so much green space its awful

Cannot believe this area which is abundant with wildlife is going to be destroyed. There is enough housing within the calders already.

Unless the roads are going to be changed and the doctors surgery expanded further then there is no way the roads and facilities of East and Mid Calder can cope with an extra 660 houses.

This land is one of the view remaining havens for wildlife. We also do not have the infrastructure for 660 new families so NO THANKS !!

The services and roads in this area are over worked as is, we don't need 600+ more households to cater for. There was once so much wildlife in East Calder and the surrounding areas and bit by bit you are cutting it down and many animals are losing their homes because of it. I know for a fact that this proposed area is home to many deer and I for one will not sit idly by while you destroy what little wildlife we have remaining.

They are cutting bus services and roads are not built in the village to take anymore traffic

I think the suggestion of the building of new houses on this land is wrong. If it is suitable to build as its under mined it would have been built on years ago. I pass the piece of land every morning and see the beautiful sight of nature with the deer in the fields with their young. Why spoil it.

Road network, bus routes, doctor surgeries and schools are already over capacity. Wildlife will also suffer.

The village doesn't have the infrastructure - roads, schools, health centre (!) to support more housing schemes. The area has lost a lot of green space in the past couple of years, which is one of the reasons why people want to live in East Calder.

Too much of the countries beautiful green spaces are being ripped up for houses.

Against the building of any homes while public services and roads are way below the acceptable standard they should be at.
