I understand the importance of thanking our leaders when they make the desired choice on a serious issue such as this one. But, with this issue in particular, shouldn't this course of action be obvious enough that it does not even require recognition? Does it not worry you that we've come to a point (morally) that we have to thank our leaders for not siding with terrorists? It's like thanking a leader for choosing not to murder his own people! I just think it's absurd!
