If it does not uplift our community and surroundings in an constructive or helpful way, and will in fact be an encouragement to more DWI's, possible assaults, fights, more dangerous than safe & good, then NO! Praying for a change of heart!
no to strip club. This will be located less than 1,000 feet away from the Onion Creek GreenWay hike and bike trail park that we is under construction and paid with bond money since 2011. (https://www2.traviscountytx.gov/tnr/publicworks/cip/project.asp?projectnumber=62)
We don't have Grocery Stores or health facilities in the SE Travis County Area east of 183. We don't need an adult entertainment place right next to a park honoring the late Hon. Richard Moya. Take this somewhere else!
With thousands of homes newly built in this area and thousands more planned, the City should be thinking about how to attract commercial amenities to compliment them. Approving a strip club does exactly the opposite.
I can't imagine why the city gave permission to build a strip club so closely to the family community of 500 houses. As a resident of the city, I am outrageous and offended by the total lack of social responsibility towards its people.
Keep filth out of our neighborhoods. Change the codes now.

We ate trying to krep our community “family friendly” and we already have too many areas that ate already negative to property values, such as; 2 prisons, a landfill, a recycling metal facility and several gravel and sand pits - enough already.
