- This is a petition and a pledge. As consumers and viewers of Marvel Studios and their franchise Marvel Cinematic Universe, we demand that changes be made to the upcoming film Captain America: Brave New World, set to release July 2024, and the character of Sabra as it is insensitive considering the current events taking place. We believe it goes without saying that, being a film studio revolving around fictional worlds and themes, Marvel should avoid displaying characters that can be linked to current ongoing controversy as it is seen as problematic. It is entirely wrong to bring Sabra into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, especially during this time. We do not support or stand with war crimes, genocide, or apartheid, and neither should this company. We ask that the company evaluates wisely how bringing the character of Sabra to screens and further legitimising the state of Israel will affect Palestinian people all over the globe and in turn, affect your viewership. We demand that the film is cancelled or delayed to make changes, and the character of Sabra be eliminated from coming to screens altogether. We will be boycotting the film and other Marvel productions as assurance until our views are directly addressed.

Marvel thinks they can ignore us but this momentum proves they are running out of places to hide. The studio needs to stop legitimizing apartheid and stop pretending this character isn't a direct insult to the Palestinian people.

I'm from usa, Saw this petition on a discord server, I Strongly Stand With Palestine And Against Genocide! So i said "Why Not, i Will Do Every Bit to Support Apartheid Victims" I've gone to now more than 5 protests and blocked goods from usa to israel, I'm ashamed of how my government is reading this genocide. Free Free Palestine!
