Traffic is a HUGE issue in an area already congested by the Byrd traffic regularly. A funeral home will further add to the existing traffic woes.

Traffic is a huge concern as well as past business practices of the person applying for the exception

Traffic will most certainly be an issue.

I live one block away from the subject property, 3100 Highland, the former location of Don's Seafood. Traffic is already very congested in this area.

I am saying no to the funeral home. Traffic is an issue on Kings Hwy. it's not what I want in my neighborhood

Traffic is often congested at the corner of Kings Highway and Highland. To add further congestion with funeral possessions would not, IMHO, be optimal for the good citizens of Shreveport and potentially extremely harmful for the surrounding businesses. Did anyone take into consideration how this could affect the egress of students from Byrd?

As a resident of a near-by street in Highland area, I am opposed to spot zoning and zoning exceptions unless it can be proved it is good for the neighborhood. In this case, it will create congestion at a busy intersection.

I say "no" to rezoning. I own property 6 blocks away and am very much against this because of traffic flow problems.

As a business owner adjacent to the proposed funeral home, I am concerned our driveway will be blocked by funeral processions.

I am against of the rezoning of Don's Seafood at 3100 Highland Ave. The traffic congestion will be horrible and a resident of South Highland I believe that a Funeral Home would bring down my property value.

No. Particular street location is not condusive to traffic flow, also a funeral home business could potienially negatively affect property values. Zoning change must not be allowed.

The certain traffic congestion on tiny King's Highway, as well as the intersecting Highland streets, would make this area a regular circus.

This will cause major traffic problems if this passes. My business will die.

The intersection of Kings and Highland is already too congested. The streets are far to narrow to safely handle the current traffic. The intersection is a crossing point for many students. Additional traffic through and around this intersection will be a traffic nightmare as well as a serious safety hazard for pedestrians and cyclists.
