The Gym is a key asset for promoting health and work-life balnce at the Bank. The Team is dooing a fabulous job and should remain intact. i would be willing to pay a higher fee to keep these dedicated people in place. The Bank would be well advised to invest in this asset.

Please consider keeping the current team intact. The gym is functioning better than ever before at what appears to be a very reasonable cost structure (with excellent use of resources and volunteers).

WB gym has seen continuous improvements over the years and am very satisfied. It's fine for GSD to review but my feedback to them is no outsourcing.

The Fitness Center team is an absolute asset to the institution! If health, fitness and quality of life are true priorities at the WBG, this service should not only be maintained in its present form, but recognized for its truly priceless both tangible and intangible contributions to WBG staff morale!

The World Bank fitness center and is very tuned to the WB environment. It provides very high quality and professional service. I do not agree with outsourcing which will make it very commercial.

The Fitness Center is very important to our work-life balance. Would be interested in seeing the cost difference if we outsource. Quality is hard to replace.

The gym staff under the management of Mike James is very efficient and offers a variety of classes for staff to choose from. One cannot reiterate enough the mental and overall health that is derived from the in-house gym. Indeed absenteeism is low, since those who go to the gym rarely call in sick or take HBW as the gym is the main source of work life balance for the athletic staff. Please don’t outsource the gym, let us keep it in in-house.

In these times of internal reviews and cost cutting the WBG should be emphasing health and fitness, not putting the excellent Fitness Center staff and clients at risk.

I simply don't see the value of outsourcing the gym, what is the point? Has this been discussed?

The Fitness Center staff is excellent, and the facilities are very well-managed. I do not support outsourcing this function.

I strongly agree that outsourcing of the world bank's gym is a bad idea. It already overflows with our own staff.

The dedication of the instructors, their personal engagement with members (Bank staff) cannot be replicated and is not worth the odd pennies here and there that might be saved in the course of outsourcing. The health/fitness/increased productivity of staff who use the Fitness Center -- shouldn't that be factored into the ER?

I appreciate the service that our instructors are providing to us. I would strongly suggest that you keep them as they are because they inspire and encourage us to go beyond and meet our goal to feel good and healthy. We are like member of a same family in the Fitness Center. So please don't change a team that win. Please consider my support to the Fitness Center team.
