Why should we pay to park outside our own homes? The current parking situation is manageable. It sounds like a money making exercise and not in our best interests.

No to parking bays. I too agree with my fellow neighbours it is an outrage that the Council has displayed frequent tendencies to dictate to residents rather than LISTENING TO RESIDENTS that live here on a daily basis and should be guided by the reality rather than an initiatve that is purely a money making scheme. We all pay enough taxes why should weor our visitors pay to park outside our homes. In addtion, the Coucil no longer want to carryout curb drops to assist those who do have difficulites with not being able to park on their door stops unless your car can park portrate from the public walk way. (excludes disability bays)

No to parking bays on Frant Road. Nothing but a money making exercise by the council. There is no consideration for the residents of Frant Road. The council are pretending to take an interest in parking on our road when all they really see are pound signs. Croydon council intend to rob decent residents blind. There are other measures that need to be explored. Scrap this ludicrous idea and lets have a proper discussion. Make the road one way... Works well in other parts of the capital. P.s. If the council are so concerned about residents' well being, isn't it about time they did something about the fly tipping. Oh hold on...might be to do with the fact there's no money to be made there!!!

In 2006 the council tried to set up parking meters, with less parking spaces than houses, any bend in the road was yellow lined, I think this would cause friction between neighbours. The council have tried twice to impose this system.
NO TO PARKING METERS/BAYS AND OVER THE TOP PARKING PERMIT FEES THAT WILL RISE EVERY YEAR.

NO to parking meters .....deal with the massive overgrown trees , fly tipping and turn Frant Road into a one way street !! NO to more money grabbing by the Council They do not want to deal with the huge problem of fly tipping and tree pruning on the Road .

I dont believe residents should be penalised for a busy road by paying to park. My car has been damaged by a scuff of another car four times in one month, so I do believe we need something changed. We could in fact have a one way street so there is not as much squeezing through. Also we could have parking permits which residents dont have to pay for. Each resident should get two permits free. Paying to park on your own road is ridiculous.
