But I am not at ease with Pravind Jugnauth acceding to the supreme post of Prime Minister of this country without going to the polls.
Any inborn of Mauritius can aspire to become Prime Minister of this country . However that person should present himself before the people and it is the people to decide whether he is capable of leading this country or not.
As Vox Populei Vox Dei – The Voice of the People is the Voice of God.
As a citizen of this country, I find it indecent, immoral and unpatriotic that Pravind Jugnauth is acceding to the post of Prime Minister without getting the mandate from the electorate. SAJ is wrong to cede the leadership of the country to Pravind Jugnauth. We are not a Monarchy neither a dynasty.
If you feed the same as me, as a true patriot sign this petition to show that the voice of the people is supreme and we cannot be taken for granted.

Politics should give everyone the chance to serve the country by the ability and competence not by the name or for being the child of so and so
The PM of Mru is the most important role in the land and cannot be passed around like a family heirloom. Democracy must prevail and Mauritians must not be silenced.
Mauritius is not a family heritage nor a monarchy and it is obvious that nowadays to be a leading and trusted PM the polls is the only door to walk through
I am against the nomination of Mr. Pravin Jugnauth as Prime Minister of the republic of Mauritius. This is against the population wish as we have elected his Father to be the PM and not him.
I am a Mauritian who believes in democracy and the democratic election of representatives in our parliament. Mauritius is not a Monarchy, do not create a precedent that will see the 3rd Jugnaught generation be prepared to have the son/daughter be placed in the prime minister position in 15 years time again.
We are no fools.
I agree with the petition, a prime minister has to be elected in a democratic way and not chosen in family line!

They may have found a way in law, but Pravind has never shown himself capable enough as the leader of the country. My biggest fear is that he lacks the confidence and savoir faire to be the PM, and leads the country to doom.
