No to Michael Owen being Liverpool’s first official international ambassador

His work as a commentator/pundit show that Owen does not have the skills required for such an important job in representing this historic and famous club. Furthermore, there are plenty of Liverpool 'legends' who have shown that they are particularly suited to the work. And then there is the matter of his association with Manchester United, a club that he would appear to support in preference to Liverpool.

He left , praising Madrid , instead of giving Rafa a chance, then went to the mancs, plus, he is not a good rep. Nor football "expert"

It would be hypocritical for him to be an ambassador for us. He NEVER says a good word about us on BT Sport, but fawns like Fergie's lap dog over the mancs

No one who has played for Manchester United should be given a job at Liverpool FC. Yes he scored some great goals with the bird on his chest but he committed the ultimate sin
