The streets and parking lots can’t handle what you have coming to Siesta Key now. Don’t do it. The charm is the variety of places to stay.

Life long Sarasota resident, too much building is happening. Our small beach community is being ruined. Lived here since the early 70s. Traffic is horrendous. Wildlife is being phased out.

I have been visiting Siesta Key since I was a newborn. My family has a long history of owneing property along the beach. I am a 4th generation and my sons are the 5th generation to call siesta key our home away from home. Putting hotels along the key will destroy the ambiance and more importantly the history of the key.
