The proposed hotel in Siesta Key village will end my best friends T-shirt store that has been there for many many years. This would be sad to see small businesses ending due to new hotels in the heart of the village.

As a resident, this decision will destroy the key. It is very disheartening that the commissioners are not listening to the residents. We should have the strongest voice as we know the day to day activities.

My husband and I live here. We would appreciate no more mega hotels in our area. The environment in the last 10 years has been changing drastically (sand recession/drudging and red tide as well as pollution from tourists).

No high density buildings!! You are opening the gates to disaster. No one who lives here and wants to preserve this area for their children and grandchildren would approve of this

It’s busy enough there, This will destroy the reason we come to Siesta Key!

Siesta Key is crowded enough as it is. No way this will be a benefit to anyone, including our tourists, who come here for the small town charm. There are plenty of high density hotels throughout Sarasota to accommodate them. There is no need to strain the already strained key. This is all about GREED!

I am a 50 year resident of Sarasota, growing up on Siesta Key. What a tragedy if buildings of this scale are allowed.

NO HIGH DENSITY DEVELOPMENT! Excessive tourism kills wildlife, the environment, and quality of life for residents
