There are plenty of abandoned businesses on the north side of the island in Niagara Falls they could re-develop. Not to mention the fact there truck stops in Cheektowaga and Pembroke plenty close enough to get to already. If they do build this, charge the rigs the tolls and not everyone else for the "bridge maintainence".

Trucks are a problem when crossing the bridges and we don't need The residents to have to contend with more truck traffic.

Terrible idea. One of the complaints about Grand Island is the congestioni on the bridges. A truck stop would make the congestion worse. I think it would be an eyesore.

This is not something the island needs. There are plenty of restaurants on the boulevard for tourists and Burger King has parking for trucks. Why take away from those businesses?

GI has 3 things pizza parlors, banks and gas stations. We do not need another gas station reguardless of how convenient it is for people just driving by. They can get off and go not even a mile away from the planned site to noco

Grand Island does not need a truck stop! There is nothing aesthetically pleasing about what a truck stop looks and sounds like. The small amount of money generated by truck drivers would be negligible to the local economy as would be the handful of jobs (which would be minimum wage). Please don't scar Grand Island with this type of eyesore.
