Large amount of light pollution, concrete, paving wetlands, and trucks is not in line with the eco/green direction Grand Island has been heading in. We have two state parks, the bike trail is coming, eco bike tours are coming, scenic woods trails are coming, solar parks are coming... how does this fit in? I love my deliveries as much as the next islander, but we have a unique situation of being by a natural wonder and we have so much undeveloped and green space. This should be protected and properly marketed/developed.

I am opposed to a truck stop on Grand Island. This would bring air and noise pollution to our community and be an eye sore. It would create traffic congestion at the site. Grand Island should promote its natural beauty and eco tourism notbtruck stops.
