No trucks on grand island. It's bad enough they tie up our two lane highway we need to get off the island.

We do not want a truck stop on Grand Island especially on the Whitehaven exit. the traffic is already heavy at this exit with frequent accidents. The noise and exhaust fume would be detrimental to our community.

There is no place on Grand Island for a mega eyesore such as Love’s.

Do not want this Loves Truck stop, or any truck stop, on Grand Island. This is not the place for this type of business. It will severely decrease the quality of living we enjoy on Grand Island.

The last thing Grand Island needs is a truck stop. Please do not ruin the town I grew up in.

I live right on top of where this place will be built. Let me know if there is any more I can do.

This is definitely a bad idea. There is no need to have this on Grand Island. Find somewhere else!

No, no, no, no, no! As a former 30-year resident of Grand Island, I wish I could sign the petition, but I no longer live in paradise (though wish I did!). It will be more than a tragedy if this development takes place. A truck stop is ugly, smelly, noisy & polluting. It could potentially bring undesirable elements to the Island and encourage loitering, not to mention destroying the small businesses that give the Island its small town character. Grand Island is basically a residential and small business community and does not need Love's! A truck stop is a totally inappropriate and undesirable use of this location.

Don't need is in a residential community...put it in Tonawanda or Niagara Falls, just over the bridge.

The Loves project will suck the life blood out of our community. Our central business district will suffer an irreversible economic collapse. Business tax revenue will be lost causing our residential real estate taxes to rise. Idling diesel trucks and those accelerating from a cold start will emit micro-particulates into the air. These particulates are known to settle deep in lung tissue causing respiratory distress in children and senior citizens. If Love's gets the chance to parasitize our community the economic and heath related impacts will be thrust upon us for decades. We all need to join together to halt this menace. It's too big, too dirty and in the wrong place. This project belongs in an old industrial brownfield site. Not Grand Island.
