Не подкрепям кандидатурата поради: 1. Участие в правителство, довело България до национална икономическа и финансова катастрофа (1995-1996 г.). 2. Силна обвързаност в миналото с комунистическата партия и неразграничаване публично от нейните престъпления срещу България. 3. Обществена подкрепа за нея изразяват главно личности и кръгове свързани в миналото с репресивната система на комунистическата Държавна сигурност.
4. Сериозни опасения от обвързаност на Ирина Бикова със службите на КГБ в СССР по време на нейното следване в Москва.

It will be a shame for UN to be headed by somebody whose career development is a result of her father's influence in the Bulgarian Communist Party and who has flats in Manhattan which cannot be justified by the income.

Ms. Bokova is not supported by the majority of Bulgarians. Her entire career is a consequence of her affiliation with the Bulgarian communists, and she is only supported by pro-Russian, anti-Western parties. She will be Russia's Trojan horse in the UN if she is to be elected.

Given the need and challenge to reform UN, I believe Irina Bokova has a rather appalling record both at UNESCO an before that. Thus, I believe, she is not capable of mediating this awfully complex UN process.
