NO to I-405 TOLL LANES

This new system is confusing and not enforceable, even WSP admitted that. More importantly, it will not work. You basically push poor people out of the HOV lanes and suck in rich people. I don't see how that is going to solve the transportation problems for the general public other than a small group of people. Not to mention the whole project is funded by everyone's tax money. I'm not a price sensitive person and I pay to use the toll lanes every time. But I don't think it's effective or fair.

Government thieves. You live on 20,000 a year and pay tolls too. Roads for the wealthy and to hell with the ones that can't afford it.

Stealing our HOV lanes after the tax payer ALREADY paid for them and then charging us to use them is ridiculous!

I will vote for those who will repeal the tolls. We need mass transit not tolls. I will not work for a company if I have to commute on 405 as long as there is a toll. It was bad enough to drive over an hour to go 15 miles prior to the tolls.

Needs more lanes for growing traffic. Not limit and toll.

Reasons to stop the tolling madness: Not enough money being kept in the state. Only benefits the wealthy, the poor get screwed again At the very least change the carpool back to 2+

This system is pure discrimination. Those who can afford to pay are the ones who get to use the lanes, even though the road work was paid for by tax payers!

We really need an initiative, but I'll take any chance to point out what a bone headed move these lanes are. They're screwing traffic up.

Please stop the 405 tolls and allow us to enter/exit the HOV lane at any point.

We did not vote on the addition of these toll lanes. It's been reported that 75% of the revenue generated by these tolls goes straight back to Texas, to pay the company who owns the toll equipment. The remaining 25% goes to maintaining the tolls current equipment. This money goes straight out of state; NOT to fund road improvement projects, NOT to fund traffic flow studies in hopes of possibly, one day bettering traffic flow, and it certainly is NOT in the least bit, benefitting the people of this state. I believe it is unlikely we will get these tolls taken down or gone completely but I am 100% supportive of efforts to remove them and will continue to do my best to support those taking this on. These tolls are ridiculous, unnecessary, overpriced and most importantly, they have only worsened the traffic flow, not improved it what-so-ever.

Please take away the TOLL LANE.

405 had issues already. To "block off" 2 lanes in the hope people will pay to use them is nuts. Obviously those who thought this up don't use 405.
