If congress pass this bill, it destroys U.S. competitiveness in a near future. You might as well move all Indians to U.S. and give them autonomy.

This is not a fix. It inflicts the problem to all other countries.

This bill is anti american and kills diversity

This is a devious bill. Seemingly it may remove backlogs for those who are waiting for years. But down the line it will create havoc for everyone. This also will give more leverage to restrict Green Card flow from certain countries. Also it will pave way for one or two countries monopolizing permanent residency. It is not a healthy bill by any stretch of imagination.

This bill will ruin the immigration system for rest of the world, and partially benefit only two nations. The problem of the backlog are not the row guys, the problem is the indian outsourcing companies who do widespread fraud to bring indian nationals. Mor than 85 percent of petitions are from two countries, and create unfair grounds to get H1B approval if you're not indian. So the per country cap should be set on H1B visas, and the backlog will get cleared in the future by itself, benefiting the nation by having more diverse immigrants

It is against the diversity policy of US.
