I have raised boxers for almost 10 years and never have I ever had one to hurt myself or anyone else. Spend some time with one and you will understand.

It is not the breed it is how you raise them. I have a boxer and a Rottweiler... they are friendly to the entire colony.

There are no such things as 'dangerous breeds'. The individual dogs are dangerous. This is kinda like if there is one stupid person in a council or something, I would say that EVERYBODY participating in legislative bodies are stupid. And yes, you are, if you let this bill pass.

I have 5 boxers now but have owned or rescued Samoyeds, beagles, Keeshonds, labs, retrievers and griffins.... plus a few mixed breeds over the years! With many small children in and out of my home also and the boxer breed was only ones who I never had a single incident with... Im a firm defender of the saying " any dog behavior is what the owner trains it to be"! Also 9 out of 10 dog attacks are people not being responsible owners by not doing proper training or even bigger... NOT teaching kids and guests how to treat the animals in the first place! When we had a litter of pups I met with each interested person/ family many times to explain to them and their kids what to do and not to do's Example; toddler goes running towards litter of puppies at full speed clumsiness and momma dog starts to hit protect mode... my well trained momma dog used her body to push over toddler away from the litter as I had commanded to her by safe word, or that toddler might have gotten bite or warned another way.. not any different then us human moms and dads trying to protect our own kids! I request all families should have to take a parent class for any animal as most do for kids during pregnancy of first born!!!! If this goes through then why can't we deem certain people as bad and not allow them in our states too!
