We already have sky scrappers downtown! Not on our beautiful beaches! We love it because it's not Miami, Hollywood or Ft. Lauderdale. If people want that they have the freedom to go there.

The lack of density is one of the main reasons we visit Siesta Key. I hate the eastern seaboard of Florida, and refuse to go there due to it’s overdevelopment. DO NOT turn Siesta Key into another overdeveloped real estate property.

Enough corruption with developers on Siesta Key- who is being bribed that would ever allow this??? Many homeowners can’t even add on to their homes here, so how is a large hotel even possible?
