Enough already. You are destroying the natural beauty of FL

I own a property on Midnight Pass Road on Crescent Beach and HIGHLY object to this. It will completely ruin the quaint small island feel of Siesta Key and bring in too much traffic, crime and noise. Clearwater Beach was ruined exactly by this. It is now way too commercialized!!!!

I grew up on Siesta Key when it still had its charm. My old home is now parceled out to oversized homes. All this building is just contributing to ruin of the area - let the locals have some peace. I moved away from FL and recently considered moving back. We chose somewhere else because Sarasota/Siesta Key no longer offer the space, beauty, and small town charm that it used to. Please do not make it worse. And I won’t even start with the traffic issues this will cause! Don’t let the developers and their greediness keep winning.

We come visit Siesta Key because it is quiet, quaint and devoid of chains, signs and overly large hotels. We hated when the big yellow monstrosity was built on the the south end of the key. Your beach I high rated, because it hasn’t been overly commercialized. These new proposed developments will make the key like any other overly crowded tourist trap. Don’t kill the goose that laid the golden egg due to over anxious development. This will be more detrimental to the area than you can foresee. More is not always better. Keep the key quaint.

No please keep Siesta Key as is. In 30 years we already lost the charm of it. Hotel and or more condos will completely ruined it. The infrastructure, sewer, bridges, traffic Cant even cope with what it is now.
