We have vacationed in Siesta for years And go there because of its casual boho non pretentious island feel. We don’t need another Miami/ Fort Lauderdale built up beach scene. Preserve unique Siesta!

I thought the goal was to reduce density on the Siesta Key. So it sounds rules only apply to homeowners. - not Developers!

Our visitors to Siesta Key frequently call out how much they love that the key doesn't have any large hotels and retains that lovely small beach town feel. This proposal would eliminate the appeal that brings many visitors to our beach rather than the overdeveloped destinations elsewhere in Florida.

I’ve been going to SK with my family for years & i don’t want it to become a place like Miami or ft. Lauderdale, if we wanted to go somewhere over developed & cookie cutter we would!

Not interested in changing the tone and style of Siesta Key. Not interested in increasing traffic density - season is crazy enough already.

Leave Siesta Key as it is. It’s already over-developed and so over-run with tourists that we locals avoid it at all cost. Let them build their hotels on the mainland (another point of contention.) and keep them off our Key.
