I live in the Strathmore Subdivision and do not want the Fischer/Raymond Hill intersection to be even more congested. And I'm concerned for Hall's Grocery, a much-loved family-owned business that would be hurt by a Dollar General store.

As residents of Coweta County residing specifically within the area that is being proposed to hold a Dollar General – I am HIGHLY opposed to this move! We do not want or need commercialization in this area. Should we deem it necessary to go to A Dollar General store, there is one located in the Thomas Crossroads Shopping center. Transitioning this property from residential to commercial is NOT in the best interest of the residents within this location. Please consider the additional traffic and overall congestion that a business will bring – especially in an area that I heavily congested already. Additionally – the transition from a residential to commercial property will have a detrimental effect on local property values… Please do not allow this to be approved! NO! There are already 2 Dollar stores within a 10 mile driving distance from that location. There is a vacant gas station along with vacant buildings beside the Goodwill at Thomas crossroads, plenty of available space at the corner of 54 and Fischer that is already zoned, and empty spaces beside the theater all of which are designed for the flow of traffic to handle such a business. I WILL NOT BE SHOPPING AT THE STORE nor will any of my neighbors so I am skeptical that the store will generate the revenue to sustain. Halls Market has been in business for years and I’m sure this would take away from their business too. DON’T let big box corporate market hogs put another one of our neighbors under!!!

I live off of Shaw Rd. It is a nice quiet area. I love it here! NO traffic, the only store is a LOCAL. My son is starting to learn how to drive so the traffic in this area is perfect. DG will make this area congested, more wrecks (especially from our teenage drivers). There is a DG in Thomas Crossroads not need for another one. Halls groceries is all we need!!! If DG builds I'm moving.
