This road is rural and must stay that way. There is plenty of land that is already commercial land to build on. Plus there enough Dollar Generals, 13 in a 15 mile radius. That is enough.

Persimmon Creek. Allowing ANY commercial development at this intersection and in the middle of our residential communities will begin a downslide of property values, increased volume of high speed traffic, and safety issues. Although the Zoning plan has restrictions for the building, lighting and items left outside at night, it will be difficult to police in future years. I personally drove to stores in Palmetto, Newnan and Tyrone and found shopping carts, tank rentals, clothing sales racks, empty bread racks, broke down corrugated cartons and unkempt trash recepticles during the day when staff is there. If you research the web, you will find that DG routinely identifies intersections such as this in residential areas regardless of how the surrounding community feels. That is why we need the Commissioners to vote this rezoning down.

I oppose the erection of commercial establishments in the traffic sensitive area.
