As a hudrogeologist I am well aware of the volume of water used by data centers. We are currently in a drought a face rising temperatures in the future. Water is a resource to precious to waste for data centers that have popped up throughout the state like mushrooms

There's so many reasons why I'm against it. Those reasons start with quality of life, destruction of a beautiful view going down rest Church Road to my home that I wasn't informed of this monstrosity this destruction when I bought in 2022 only because I was forced farther out from Fairfax County just because situations like this where they were buying single family homes out from under people and pushing them farther away from their livelihood. It's a long story but I am furious to say the least

We moved here because it wasn’t lil DC. We moved here because it was a quaint lil town that gave the HOME feeling and look. Others come here for not only the same reason but to get away from the large buildings, over populated streets and Data centers. People visit here for some of the same reasons as well as its historical significance and of course APPLE BLOSSOM FESTIVAL. . People will start moving away and stop visiting here if you destroy this beautiful town. If it’s a must for this center then put it out of sight. Where it doesn’t affect this town. Where there’s no homes, churches and schools for miles. Where tourists won’t see or hear them, if the town has been so poorly ran that we’re broke snd there’s no other option then this, put it out of sight. Please don’t ruin our town. Like others, we will move!
