To say I'm concerned about our water is an understatement! My son Richard W Rozanski was born in 2013 and was formula feed, so obliviously everyone I made a bottle for him he was ingesting extremely contaminated water!!! We pay for our water and now we are spending more money that I know I don't have to buy bottles water to drink, give to my animals, cool with and brush our teeth. Every time we shower the water absorbs into our skin, into our children's skin!!! I'm beyond scared of what the future holds for our health after injesting etc this Extremely contaminated water!! I pray my family, especially my son will not suffer from this!! I am just sicked by this entire situation!!

We are outraged that our safety has been out at risk and continues to be so. This dumping in the river needs to stop and cleanup begin immediately.

It is way past time for the Federal and State government to step and aggressively address this issue. Use the full power of existing Federal and State laws to hold Chemours accountable for past and future activity!

How can you allow this cover up to continue?

it is time for NC DEQ and US EPA to establish an appropriate NPDES permit for Chemours that protects the drinking water of NC people. The NC DEQ and the US EPA are complicit in what has happened here and deserve our scorn as much as Chemours if that is possible.

All permits for renewal should be denied, that release GenX, PFOA / PFOS, or any other harmful contaminates into the Cape Fear River and our drinking water supplied. Immediately !!!

A company that has a lack of interest in the well being of the communities that it touches near & far, actually knowingly puts them in harms way should no longer be allowed to operate in those communities.

More data needs to be collected before renewing this permit. Concern for public safety should first and foremost.

Do not renew that permit

There is currently not enough data and research to ensure the public safety. As such, there is no logic supporting a renewal of the Chemours permit.

This poisoning of our waters is insane. I say refuse a new permit till there is proven to be no more dumping of poision in the cape fear river. Human life and health above money power and greed.
