As long as a child is smart in affordable priced clothing I think that's fair enough. Over priced cheap clothing from uniform shops doesn't help a child improve their education. In previous years the quality of some uniform was shocking.

Focus more on the wellbeing of the children rather than this obsession with what type of black trousers they are wearing and Comberton may return to being the great school it once was.

my son wears tidy black trousers which I have just brought and I'm not happy about having to now buy these school trousers My son isn't a small lad and I don't feel these trousers will fit him comfortable The uniform costs enough as it is I feel as long as the trousers / skirts are of a good length and look tidy then that should be good enough .

Why will this be easier to enforce than the existing school uniform policy?

Enforce the dress code against those who breach it rather than force this additional expense on everyone. Certain styles suit different bodies within the existing dress code. Does the school get a share of sales as commission?
