Say NO to the "Swim with the Tuna" experience at Victor Harbor, say NO to aquaculture on the Fleurieu.

Reckless disregard for the established tourism, existing marine life and water users, desperate hail mary by an incompetent council acting without responsibility.

I've spent my life here in Victor Harbor, and frequently visit our beautiful beaches. This is the worst idea I've ever heard and certainly is not something we need here. Please don't go ahead with this.

This is a bad idea, and must not proceed. Surely the backers of this " tourist attraction" can direct their energy and money to another priject that will energise the district, add to the community and not endanger life.

Only going to attract more sharks in the area, our beaches are the most popular surf beaches in SA, save our surfing tourism and penguins on granite island!!

Absolutely rediculous to even think this venture will help tourism in Victor harbor. I am totally against this venture for many reasons.

We have disturbed so many natural environments, we don't need to continue that horrible pattern.

The amount of surfers/swimmers that the fleurieu attracts will be cut dramatically if there is a big 'bait net' located so close to our beaches.

Victor Harbor is a lovely, small community town. A place for elderly people to come and retire, a great place for kids to grow up. It's quiet, and thats how the old folks and holiday makers like it. From Waitpinga to Middleton, there is a rich surfing community, bringing a tuna farm to Victor Harbor would bring other wildlife here too, drastically changing that. I dont want to see Victor Harbor turn into another Port Lincoln, a deserted place full of tourists and greedy fisherman. I say NO to swimming with the Tuna.

Stop trying to create a ghastly tourist attraction at the expense of the Fleurieu's beautiful natural environment, animals and marine life. Stop thinking only about the lining of pockets for a change and be ethical!

How dare our state government approve this monstrosity in the unspoilt waters of Encounter Bay. It will impact on so many of the recreational activities that presently occur in that bay and cause immeasurable damage the marine environment.
