I saw this coming as soon as I seen the news complaining about gulls.... there is no point killing another species - humanity is inhumane and I can't be more disgusted.

We have an overpopulation of humans such as murderers paedophiles and rapists and I suggest you sort that problem before starting on the birds.

It's easy to solve the problem with seagull harassment, stop feeding them & ensure all bins - residential, commercial & those in public areas are seagull proof. They will soon relearn where their food source should come from. Stop killing our wildlife and using this as the only option to a problem.

I live in Plymouth, near the coast and the gulls have a regular perch on the roof of the house opposite. We have lots of children living here, who picnic on the green in front of our houses and the gulls never bother them at all. Yes they swoop occasionally in town, all the street cafe s are enticing for them and people keep feeding them scraps. I am against culling these natural inhabitants on our coasts, it's their home too. Fine people who encourage them instead.

I lived by the sea a few years ago and had no trouble what so ever from seagulls ... maybe their food is being depleted by

What is wrong with this country, why are we so anti - animals ? If we weren't so disgusting in throwing our rubbish all over the place, we wouldn't encourage the birds. The councils are to blame for not providing adequate bins and parents for not teaching children to put rubbish in the correct place. This country is filthy , god knows what visitors must think. Leave the gulls alone and deal with the real problem.
