The gulls are very hungry. Why? Address that problem not kill them, that is no solution.

Seagulls do not threaten man so stop this stupid idea now. Having grown up with inland seagulls who are just looking for food, I am 41 and can honestly say I have never been attacked. If I was I would just laugh it off. That is nature. Get over it.

Seagulls are already declining in number (that is true!), so why push them even closer to a slow extinction? We do not have the right to just kill (don't call it cull because it is KILLING) those animals. Humans are multiplying without boundaries, humans shit a lot more than animals, humans leave rubbish everywhere. And there are billions.... and they don't stop breeding! Doesn't THAT sound like a pest that needs to be stopped?

The very idea of culling a species for taking advantage of of our poor refuse handling habits is bonkers. Ensure commercial premises keep bin areas clean and empty bins as and when needed, composting their food waste... And you have no real problem to speak of.

Clean up the mess that people leave, then the Gulls wouldn't come inland to find easy food! Messy costal towns and villages are at fault not the Gulls!
