No to a HO. This petition is to show our support for the young here in Ireland that have sadly taken their own lives and also the young that are suffering due to cyber bullying. We need to raise awareness. We need to help build self esteem and self confidence within our youth, we need adults and guardians to monitor more the use of internet sites by youths in their care and also most importantly we need to help to put a stop to any more deaths of young beautiful people who have their whole lives ahead of them. Our Government need to act with us, they need to make a move to support this cause in some way and they need to help us to make a change. Whether it be shutting down certain sites, tracking down the cause of individual bullying cases or putting in place bigger and better support systems within schools and clubs to help our youth no matter what their issue is. Anything to help. And we need to try prevent any more families going through the pain already caused by this issue.
The stories shared in the comments reveal a profound need for systemic change regarding how we protect our youth online. I am actively researching avenues to bring these concerns before the appropriate government offices.

The momentum behind this initiative reflects a profound consensus on the need for better protection for our young people. It is encouraging to see so many individuals advocating for meaningful changes in how we monitor digital spaces and support our youth. This groundswell of interest indicates that our call for government action resonates with many families across the country.

Too many young lives lost way too soon. The gov needs to listen to us and actually do something for once. Stop the bullying.
