Lifelong Democrat, I do not support this bill. If you want to do something, reign in your judges who set both bail amounts and sentences. Before anyone signs this bill, they need to answer one question : why don't we have mandatory prison sentances for anyone who uses a firearm during a crime? Start there. This law will have zero effect on people who will commit criminal acts. And will only effect the already law abiding. I have been the victim of gun crime and lost my only sister to gun crime. In neither case was the gun at fault. Same thing applies to drinking and driving.
