As somebody that’s grew up in Delaware and still call it home, I serve in the United States Marine Corps and this is something I hold to my heart, and why I do what we do. We deserve our right to bear all arms, I hope all my fellow Delawareans feel the same.

No to the gun bills, will not stop the illegals from getting guns or the mass murders, they will just use some other way. It will prevent law abiding citizens from protecting their self and family from these type people. A worthy bill would be to put metal detectors and security guards at doors of schools and any other high volumed structures. Thanks for listening

The Constitutions, state and federal, are explicit on this matter. No amount of revisionist history can change that fact. It is not up to any state legislator to second guess the framers and utilize their pen to attempt to eliminate an inalienable right of a United States and Delaware citizen. It would be far better to address, in a meaningful way, mental health, bullying, and the breakdown of morality and compassion in our society.

I strongly support the right of law abiding citizens to keep and bear arms of their choosing. I own many guns, but my M&P 15 is by far my favorite sportsman rifle. It's accurate/easy to shoot (no worry of my shoulder hurting after shooting all day at the range), and it can be cleaned very well in <10 minutes; my Henry repeating rifle and savage 22 take much longer. I encourage all gun owners to contact their state representative to voice your concerns with SB163 and HB330.

After reading the language of the ban, it seems to be a complete ban on the sale, purchase, and possession of not only centerfire semi-auto rifles (which would be enough for me to sign this petition), but also of so-called "assault pistols". I sign this petition in hopes of holding the 2nd Amendment of the United States Constitution strong and intact.
