Average citizens do not own weapons with the intent of assaulting someone. The average citizens own DEFENSE weapons. I own weapons used for self defense, hunting and sports shooting. Rather than focusing on restricting gun ownership on law abiding citizens, let’s introduce a bill calling for stiffer gun penalties for those who use weapons in a crime! Please vote NO for HB 163.

As a retired police officer I know that any new laws won’t be obeyed by criminals. Stop hurting the law abiding citizen .

I do not support this knee jerk reaction to ban firearms. It is a poor attempt to pass agendas under the guise of a “good start.” Sadly it will not be a good start because no further action will be taken afterwards. Even CDC research under Obama’s administration discovered these bans will not help the problem. We need to treat the cause, and stop trying to band-aid fix the gaping wound we are seeing here.
