Banning modern sporting rifles (a.k.a. assault weapons) will not make anyone safer. It will not reduce homicides, and will not stop mass shootings.

It is our right to have arms. Laws for people who break gun laws should be heavily prosecuted.

The second Amendment is more then what this government deems ok firearms, these criminals slip thru your hands, and stead of finding fult where fult should lye... At the governments feet... The government wants to disarm law abiding citizens instead??

The definition of an assault rifle is vague and once you start with one gun ban, you will start to ban them all. 2nd amendment, ...to protect us from you the government. NO I won't let you take out rights

As a law abiding citizen, I respectfully request that you do not bad these tools. I understand the movement towards mitigating violence. However, a weapon is only as good/bad as the person wielding it. Believe me, I know from experience that the enemy will only find other means to do harm with or without this "ban".
