It is the incredible open ended language and forced emotion in this document that guarantees more and more restriction on law abiding citizens.

Legally, Delawareans enjoy a Federal right to bear arms as well as a State right to bear arms. This legislation would disregard both rights, making it more difficult to be a law abiding citizen than it is to be a criminal. Guns don't kill people, people kill people and they've been doing it since before the invention of the firearm, and will continue after.

Shotguns are more dangerous than assault weapons. Are you going to band them some day too!! What happens if a crazy kills people with a plastic fork, Will they also be banded? Leave the weapons alone and modify your reporting of the mentally insane and keep them from buy weapons!!!

It states in the constitution that our rights to bare arms shall not be infringed.

This whole bill and going against the people is not how it’s done. Don’t infringe on our freedoms and expect people to take it laying down like a herd of sheep or something.

This is about control not the safety of society. Delaware doesn't prosecute 70% of gun crimes. But the law makers want to take law abiding citizens guns to protect them. From whom are we protecting? Drugs are illegal, yet criminals still get them. Time to change our law makers.
