A AR15 is not a assault rifle,it is only a semi auto rifle that’s it!
Please protect the second amendment. Focus on parents teaching their children right from wrong. Start holding parents accountable. Allow teachers and school staff members that are willing to carry do so as this could save lives. Don't take away the guns of law abiding citizens who go through the legal process of obtaining firearms. The criminals and unstable individuals will still managed to get theirs illegally.

This bill does nothing to address the problem of school children being frightened. As a child of the Columbine era, I sat out 80 days of my senior year due to bomb threats from inside the boys school bathrooms. Banning bathroom breaks didn’t stop the bomb threats, just as taking away the rights of legal gun owners is not the answer.
This is a carbon copy of the law passed in Maryland and that didn’t stop mass shootings in Maryland either. We need to increase available counselors for the emotional needs of children and stop overburdening the counselors at schools. Career counseling and emotional support needs to be two separate yet equal jobs so that our students know they have adults they can turn to when things seem hopeless.

Proposed law will have zero effect on crime and only impedes the lawful exercise of 2A rights to the citizens of Delaware. Gross over reach in the form of an emotional knee jerk reaction. No need for this and will vote against legislators who attempt to approve this nonsense.
