The council has officially scrapped the plan for three weekly black bin collections. This victory belongs to everyone who stood firm against this policy. Keep watching the council proceedings to ensure they stick to their word.
Gwynedd Council are the first council in wales that have agreed to 3 weekly black bin collections ! This is outrageous ! SAY NO TO THREE WEEKLY COLLECTIONS NOW !
The council thinks they can ignore our complaints but the feedback I keep getting proves how much this plan hurts our streets. Email your local councillor today and tell them that moving to three-weekly collections is an unacceptable reduction in service. Post the link to this petition on your Facebook wall so we can force them to listen.

The scale of this response proves the council underestimated how much we value our current waste services. Now is the time to leverage this pressure so post this link on Facebook and email your local Gwynedd councillor today.

Being disabled how can gwynedd cc be so rash in making such a important decision! Only people who earn enough and have a regular wage would make such a decision! Put these idiots on benefits and in a wheelchair and see if they could do it without their brand new cars and wage increases! #selfisholdgits

Can’t even get them to pick it up on time now! Adding more time between collections is just madness. Won't be long before the streets are full of rubbish.

Used to be weekly now they want to push it to 3 weeks. Gwynedd council have lost the plot honestly. Are they trying to start an epidemic?

Living in a house with 5 kids we fill the bin in 2 days. This is going to be an absolute nightmare for us in the summer with the smell. Sort it out.

Total joke of a council. We already pay our council tax for this service. Why do they get paid so much to dream up ways to make our lives harder? Typical.
