Not safe for kids, estates and built up housing areas are supposed to be safe havens for our children. What's an extra 10minutes in traffic compared to a life? Not worth the risk.

This is awful. There is absolutely no need for this road!!! Lots of little kids play in these estates, have made friends,play games and chill. Putting a road in this area will stop them from doing this.
We are continuously trying to encourage children to get out an play and honestly this road doesnt really help. As a driver myself there are many other routes available to access this part of the town.
Not happy at all.

I would be very concerned that the numerous Heavy goods vehicles currently using the Barnish Rd would use a through road here as shortcut to/from the motorway.. It would definitely present an serious danger to the many young children playing around this area.

I would strongly disagree with this through road being developed. We live in castle ave with our three young children and it is a quiet cul de sac where kids can play with their friends. To introduce this you are bringing with it dangers to the kids in the area with both the level of cars that will be travelling and also an element of excess speed. We are against this happening.
