I am strongly against any expansion to Heathrow airport. I am concerned about the already high air pollution and the effect of this on people living near the airport.

High speed trains please. The only major City in the world which planes need to diametrically cross before landing on the circle ...

Stop patching things up and rather create a more balanced mix of airports around London. There is enough air traffic from and to LHR.

Heathrow expansion is just not an option in the long term, I vote for a short term Gatwick expansion and a new Estuary airport for the strategic solution!

The Government had a clear commitment to no third runway. U-turn would be a huge breach of trust.

The government should listen to the people that voted them in. They should not renege on their promise. How can we trust politicians if they do not keep their word.

Cancel High Speed rail and spend the money on a Thames Estuary airport. An extra runway at Heathrow will have severe adverse effects on local communities.

Expansion of Heathrow is not necessary; more planes would be an environmental disaster; and surely the residents of SW London have the right to a peaceful nights sleep?

Airspace is already congested. Even with some changes under discussion by air traffic authorities, expansion at Heathrow will add further strain to the system.

It is insane that this city brings majority of its flights directly over a hugely residential area, creating noise problems and pollution. There are other options! To be woken consistently at 4:30am is a form or torture and directly impacts of the lives of hardworking Londoners. Let's make this about improving the lives of residents as opposed to lining the pockets of the powers that be. I have faith that the right thing will be done!
