SAY NO TO HEATHROW EXPANSION

A third runway will have a huge impact on the lives of people living near Heathrow.

I am against any expansion of Heathrow

This is a disgrace! No third runway.

Strongly oppose Heathrow expansion. There are other, more viable, options which do not desecrate the environment and degrade the quality of life of many thousands of local residents..

This is a disgrace! No third runway. Why do we always have vested interests, politicians and civil servants who just do what business say and not what is right for our country and the people affected!?

Support retention of Heathrow Airport, but opposed to expansion due to negative impact it will have on communities, noise/air pollution, along with the increased risk to public safety increased air traffic over a densely populated area will bring.

I VEHEMENTLY oppose ANY expansion of Heathrow, especially any new Runways. The Noise Pollution cannot and will not be controlled, REGARDLESS of what the so called "Experts" maintain.

I fully support this petition and do not believe expansion can be justified in such a densely populated area.

I feel that I and millions of others who are driven to distraction by aircraft noise are being treated with utter contempt. No other government of any civilised county would dream of putting a vague concept like 'the economy' before the actual physical and mental welfare of itshepeople.Who cares about t 'Economy', when it only makes employers and other rich people richer, everybody else not only poorer financially, but much much poorer in terms of an enjoyable life. This government would do very well in an Oxford PPE Exam, but it stinks in terms of anything to do with looking after its people. This is where other European countries that have a real commitment to the public good are so much more worthy of respect. To chose a strategy that will increase suffering form frightful noise, when there are alternatives, is utterly, utterly disgusting!

I am absolutely opposed to any expansion of Heathrow airport

The Conservatives must not go back on their word or else I will never vote for them again.

The noise from planes ceaselessly approaching Heathrow is an utter nightmare for residents in South West London. Expansion of Heathrow will make life a misery for even more people. In the 21st century our aim should be to improve living conditions, not impose torture on the general population. Get a grip. Put airports off shore and introduce high speed rail access.

I voted for the Conservatives only because of the no expansion at Heathrow policy.

It should be a basic right to have a good night's sleep

No further expansion must be allowed. Promises have been broken too many times and the public betrayed. All seats should be full and shorthaul flights abolished - that would free up the needed space. Air and noise pollution shouuld be reduced, NOT added to.

Heathrow is in the wrong place (to the west of major population centre) and should not be expanded.

I DO NOT WANT AIRCRAFT OVERHEAD.

There is enough aircraft noise pollution in West London, further noise will only make things worse.
