The latest climate science and the Government’s new climate change law require big cuts in UK carbon dioxide emissions - expansion will result in a huge increase in emissions; •Expansion will have serious impacts on local communities including the demolition of homes, increased noise disturbance and local air pollution that will breach EU health standards; •The economic justification for expansion is based on flawed assumptions which underestimate the environmental and social impacts and overstate the economic benefits; •London doesn’t need an expanded Heathrow - many routes are served by low-carbon rail alternatives and London is, and is likely to remain, much better connected for business and tourists than its EU competitor

There just isn't the room - suck it up, Heathrow and move on. The 3rd runway is just not a viable option.

Heathrow does not have the capacity to resolve the long-term need for runway capacity without destroying hundreds of thousands of people within their communities with noise and air quality sewage spewed over it. LHR needs to accept this and back a more sustainable location, such as Gatwick

We have enough problems with the amount of planes going over day and night it would be far worse with another runway added.

Do not trust the propaganda spewed out from Heathrow, it has been proven to be inaccurate. It is in the wrong place and hundreds of thousands will be adversely affected by their noise pollution. Gatwich wants the expansion, and planes would fly over fields, disrupting far less & with more space to expand further still in the future. Heathrow is NOT the place for expansion

It is unacceptable for our family to have to endure this kind of noise currently let alone an increase. It is an infringement of our right to peace and quiet. This is why we moved from Windsor to Ascot!
