Heathrow's unfortunate location already blights the lives of the city's population. No other major city is so overflown as London. Moving capacity to Gatwick or Stansted would make much more sense as the impact of noise pollution would impact a much smaller section of the south-east population.

We need to enhance more local airports not Heathrow which is in the wrong place. Much too densely populated and current torture at times through noise is more than enough.

As I sign this Petition may I, please, find out HOw can I join those Protestors who take Mobile " Runways " to nthe Hierachy of Weathrow Airport Ltd., B.A.A. and, I hope, Willie Walsh & his fellow Directors of B.A. Let us face it, because of all their HIGH salaries ,they can afford to live way out, in the countryside miles away from their NOISY Airports.

Gatwich should be chosen. Expansion of Heathrow would be a disaster for the environment.

Gatwick is the most sensible choice. We should have less planes over London not more.

stop stupidly wasting oil and resources on ever increasing air travel. what we need in the s/e is an extra runway at Gatwick for pure safety reasons
